Work on Peter’s Creek Parkway Bridge Prompting Closures in Forsyth County

WINSTON-SALEM — NCDOT design-build contractors are continuing work on the center bridge support for the new Peter’s Creek Parkway bridge, prompting lane closures along a small portion of I-40 Business at Peter’s Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem.

The inside lanes will close in each direction starting Nov. 27, and closures will be in place for about 45-days.

The closures are needed so that contractors can safely work on the bridge.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert, slow down in the work zone and obey the posted speed limit.
